What should I do? I've been in Detroit this week for work and now I've got about half a day to kill tomorrow and I figure there's got to be some cool shit to see, but the google isn't showing me anything that looks too spectacular.
Anyone know of any awesome car museums or anything? I've been to the Lingenfelter collection on a previous trip. SR20:
Plan B is just lurking around the old Packard plant. What say you, oppo?

I've heard great things about the Henry Ford Museum and the River Rouge plant tour, although I haven't had the opportunity yet myself. The Henry Ford Museum is open on weekends, 9:30 to 5. And it looks like the River Rouge plant is too. Cheers!

Apparently, if you can get up high enough you can actually look down and watch the city die.

The pilot usually announces when we're at the right altitude on the way out. Hope I'm sitting on the right side of the plane to get the best view.

Go to the Henry Ford Museum and the Rouge plant as NotUnlessRoundIsFunny suggested. Take lots of pics, and give us a nice write up.

I heard that this one guy, he actually
witnessed
the city losing its dignity.

Got your passport? Drive across the bridge. It's amazing because you go from a giant sprawling hellhole to a fairly nice modern small city with some great strip clubs.
The Henry Ford Museum is pretty nice. I can't imagine how a tour of the Rouge plant could only take a few hours. I delivered there several times when I was a truck driver in a previous life and that place is HUGE!!

Hmm, I heard something similar. You can watch it die once from the ground, and then if you quickly get to the top of another building, you can see it die again!
Or was that sunsets, I can't remember.

Can't it be both?
I mean, things die at sunset. Right? It's not, like, the moment when no person within that horizon can die? Is it?
Oh god.
Is it?
